This past week the hubby and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Marteen. We had such an amazing and relaxing time! It’s always so great to get away–my phone and internet did not work on the ship, so we literally disconnected for an entire week. Here are some of my favorite outfits from the trip.

Like most beach vacations I like to keep my outfits easy and breezy, especially after an entire day of tanning, the last thing I need are clothes that are too tight or too clingy…eek! I wore this embroidered dress with lace detailing while taking a stroll on Orient Beach in St. Marteen.

The second night on the ship was formal night, so it gave me a reason to get dolled up. I wore this purple sleeveless jersey dress with a charmeuse waistband from David’s Bridal. It‘s the perfect mix between comfortable and stylish.

I accessorized the dress with this gem clutch. It gave the dress a little more edge and not to mention it was a total steal for just $34!

This white bathing suit cover up was another one of my faves–cover-ups are so practical, and definitely a must-have for any beach vacation. You just throw it over your bathing suit and you’re good to go!

Like most vacations it went by so quick. But I’m glad to be back. What do you like to wear during your summer vacations? Any must-have piece you always take with you?
